The room IS SO silent, at peace in my head
No cares in the world, my mind oh so still
Contentment surrounds me, all alone in my room
Far away in the distance, I feel there’s a sound
Although I can’t hear it, it seems to be loud
My heartbeat grows stronger, or I’m more aware
Didn’t notice it earlier, was it always there?

I find this confusing, the walls seem to breathe
My mind although silent, shouts and screams
Anger starts to fill me, beneath my inner calm
Then I start to realise, I may not be alone
In the walls I see faces, staring and laughing
Images of evil, like demons advancing
The sound it gets closer, a crowd of un-dead
A deafening silence, is it all in my head?

The walls move like liquid, feels like my skin
There’s no separation, where do I begin?
My heartbeat rings loud, on every beat
Fear surrounds me, from my head to my feet
I shout for my mother, but she doesn’t hear
I let fate absorb me, anger fills my fear
scream at the demons, to come into my head
I stare into the darkness, Frozen in dread

The feeling subsides, like a storm passing by
The faces smile, with a kindness in their eyes
They move away, the walls solidify
Sound becomes a whisper, again I am alone
